Red Hill – Design Worshop Agenda

Day One: Friday, October 21
8:00 a.m. Welcome and Introductions Coffee and a light breakfast will be served.
8:15 a.m. Project Background
9:00 a.m. Site tour Take a guided field trip to identify opportunities and constraints, including access points, trail connections, sensitive lands, and points of interest.
11:00 a.m. Opportunities and Constraints Map – Based on knowledge gained during the field trip, work together to refine a base opportunities
and constraints map.
12:30 p.m. Lunch
1:00 p.m. Design Development – Break up into teams and develop conceptual plans and interpretive ideas.
Note: The community has been invited to “drop in” between 4:00-5:00 p.m.
5:00 p.m. Community Meeting – Present design alternatives and get community input, including desired alternative(s) and/or design elements.
7:00 p.m. Wrap-up and Next Steps for Day 2
Based on the Community Meeting, determine next steps for Day 2 Design Development, which may include refining one plan,
multiple plans, or creating a new design.
7:30 Adjourn
Day Two: Saturday, October 22
8:00 a.m. Design Development
Refine conceptual design(s) and develop other
products, such as restoration plan sketches, interpretive themes/sign concepts, design details for trailheads and other destinations, implementation strategies, etc. Coffee and a light breakfast will be served.
11:30 a.m. Lunch
12:00 p.m. Set-up for Public Presentation
12:30 p.m. Community Presentation
Share design concepts and future stewardship opportunities with the community. Celebrate your hard work and accomplishments with new friends, colleages and members of the Sun Valley community!
2:30 p.m. Feedback and Next Steps
Capture successes and improvements that can be applied to future charrettes. Identify next steps for scanning designs, report preparation, etc.
3:00 p.m. Adjourn
